Valentine's Week

Brian and I celebrated Valentine's Week.  That basically meant I planned an extra special meal and dessert for us everyday.

Brian wrote this one because my dinner failed and we had to order pizza.  It was Valentine's day too!

I will admit by day 7 we were so sick of sweet food that we didn't even have the yogurt!

Every morning I woke up to a love note.  That's a total of 7 handwritten love notes from my wonderful husband.  How luck can one girl get?

Joyful Monday

Everyone needs some joy on Monday.

My joy came from when I got to spend the evening crocheting for a little favorite person of mine using some of my favorite colors

In the mean time my lovely husband was doing husband things.  He put up a shelf and even hung up my picture, mittens and apron even though he doesn't like them.

My heart was filled with joy all night!

road trippen it

Today the hubby and I decided to take a road trip and do some furniture shopping along the way.
We hopped in the car and headed towards the windy city.  We got some deep dish pizza.  We were frost bitten while walking from the car to the restaurant.  We experienced Chicago to say the least.
Tomorrow we say hello to ikea!

On the way here I brought along my crochet hook and have been crafting for someone I love...
