I got this yarn for my birthday and I have no idea what to make of it. The white and black are a chenille kind of yarn and the red and white is a furry fun yarn that is incredibly soft.
My friend Dani gave me these today. They are alpaca! They are from Odelia Farms where they have alpacas there and spin their own yarn there. The website is here....
I don't know what to make of these. I'm pretty sure I'm going to make a hat out of the purple/grey/natural alpaca yarn. It is just SOO soft and pretty I don't want to give it away.
Definitely make a hat... or a scarf or something... I don't know how much yarn it takes to make those things. Can you combine the two and make stripes or trim with the white?

Yes, I want to make either a hat or a little scarf/collar that buttons at the neck with the graded grey and purple yarn and then trim it with the white. I'll make something and it'll be fantastic.
ReplyDeleteHow funny! I was just looking at some little buttoning scarf collar thingies on Etsy yesterday! I'd never seen one. VERY COOL. I almost bought one... but made myself stick to the shower gift I logged on for. :(
