Inspiration

I saw this picture on this blog.  It includes a tutorial on how to make it.  I was very inspired.  I can't wait to make crafty things around my home for Christmas.  I thought this was still done fairly tastefully.  When I convert it to have my holiday decorating colors of choice I think it will look really good.

Early October Stars

1. Made By Girl: Made By Girl posted about Kime Busselli's art work. I just really like her style. I want to try it out someday.

2. Attic 24: I absolutely love this blog, and especially this post. October is my FAVORITE month....just check out all of these amazing fall photos. This one is from the ideal homes calender.

3. Once Wed: I just love this photo. I also enjoy reading up on men's fashion. If I were a boy I would dress like that.

4. The Small Object Steno Pad: I just love the vintage looking fabrics in this fall inspired patchwork piece.

5. Drew-o-rama: Drew posted a blog about Amanda Wachob's tattoos. I've never seen anything like them. I just like anything that goes against the grain...so naturally I think these are awesome.

6. Once Wed: This is from a '30s inspired wedding. I think this might be a photo of the guests! How awesome is this picture? I would put this is my house, if I had one.

7. Craftzine Blog: I just think this is cute and looks nice on a wall. It's worth trying, the supplies are virtually free. It might look like you have trash on your wall in the end...but it could be cool.

Xavier

Xavier is a student studying performing arts. He is currently in a play titled Sparta.


Xavier's part is Soldier #3. If Soldier #2 gets sick, Xavier gets to say his line.



Xavier loves the stage! He loves everything about theatre including his costume. If Soldier #2 gets sick, he also gets upgraded to a sword.

Ulric the wolf ruler

Ulric is a college football player.


Ulric is so excited for the upcoming season that he goes to the stadium everyday fully dressed and visualizes himself scoring touchdowns.


Ulric has been counting down the days until he plays the first game of the season in Houck Stadium. It is 37 days. Incidentally that's the same day as his 22nd birthday.


Ulric took off his helmet because he was sweaty. This picture is very similar to his official football portrait.

Tabitha

Tabatha's deep blue eyes aren't filled with tears. Her blue tear is just makeup, her favorite accessory.


Tabitha's favorite band is Dashboard Confessional. She likes to wear black and would have dyed her hair black as well, but she loves her natural highlights.


This is Tabitha's myspace profile picture. She writes sorrowful blogs about how much her life sucks.


Tabitha is actually a cheerleader and she LOVES it. She just likes emo music and the identity that goes with it.

Spencer

Spencer is too cool for school. He just decided he would drop out of the 4th grade and become a rock star.

Ever since Spencer got a mohawk 3 weeks ago he started acting like a rock star. He wears low rise tight pants and a skinny tie everyday.


Spencer was too cool to let me follow him around for the day with my camera. He just let me take serious, straight faced photos against the wall.

Rain

Rain was born, raised and currently lives in trees. She respects nature.

Rain has never set foot on the ground. Her boyfriend Nehemiah comes to visit her when he is off duty.


Rain has learned to climb to the tips off branches to study and nurture new specimens.


Rain has learned how to jump from tree to tree to get where she needs to be.


This is just an awesome picture I took of Rain demonstrating her jumping skills.

Quinn

Quinn is an avid musician.


Quinn has been making his living as a lounge piano player for over half a century.


Quinn may or may not have been a close friend of Marilyn Monroe.

Quinn has been all over the world and enjoys traveling.


Quinn is going on a cruise to the south pacific soon.

Oliver

Oliver's favorite room in the house is the kitchen.

He wears a gold chain just like his favorite snack, Rold Gold.

Oliver wears black because once somebody told him it was slimming. He just got a new nickname. It was tubby now it is black snowman...B-Snow for short.

Oliver (B-Snow) wakes up every morning and watches the Today Show. Oliver's favorite part is when they announce 100-year-old birthdays on the Smucker's label. mmmmm soo sweet.


Oliver (B-Snow) tries to keep it healthy, he only drinks diet coke and, of course, caffeine free.

Nehemiah

Nehemiah is a veteran turned ninja.

He has mad skills of stealth.

Nehemiah practices meditation and yet knows how to kill a man with his bare hands.

Nehemiah just broke this log with his head.

Nehemiah is watching out for you.

Launa

Launa is a hula dancer from Hawaii.


Launa doesn't dance at pig roasts, only vegetarian luaus. She is vegetarian herself.


Launa volunteers with animal rescue. This is her loving on a wildcat.

Ignacio

Ignacio also goes by Iggy. He loves horticulture.


Iggy loves to grow all kinds of plants and trees and is interested in biology.



Iggy has never wanted to be Superman, or Batman. Iggy has always wanted to be Iggy-Bee.


Iggy-Bee would be a Super Bee who saved the world through pollination and supplying oxygen to all!


After a long days of work and play Ignacio takes off his costume and likes to take naps on top of his floral comforter. It isn't feminine bedding; it is professional.

I'm famous

Okay so I'm a big believer in google reader ever since my brother and his wife told me all about it. Every day I read a bunch of blogs, one of them is CRAFT magazine's blog.
