Christmas Eve Attire
My in-laws create the most beautiful spread on Christmas Eve. A candle lit dinner with the finest china is laid out every year for the occasion. Unfortunately Brian and I are always working up until the last minute and barely make it in time to sit down with the family. We always want to look nice, but relaxed. So here is what I have picked out for Brian and myself.

Madewell is HERE!
Did you guys know that a Madewell has opened in Frontenac Mall?!?! This is no joke guys. I've been stalking Madewell for a long time--always too fearful to buy a brand online that I had never seen in person. Well guess what? Now I can walk across the street from my job and waltz myself straight into the Madewell store in person! I can't believe it. Above are some of my favorites right now... and yes I would wear all of that together... and yes it would totally rock.

Shoes to Work It
I just got the above shoes from justfab.com. I know, I know; no one wants to read about one of those shoe membership websites. So I won't write about it.
Yet with any new shoe purchase I now need a new outfit to wear it with! I love the idea of mixing really hard masculine pieces with soft feminine ones. The tuxedo pants, the leather jacket and the boots are masculine and edgy. I chose a very soft blouse with lovely gold accessories to complete the look.
Can we take a break and talk about how awesome that Michael Kors watch is? The Michael Kors watch look has been the watch for several years for women. I don't know if the oversized trend will go on much further, but I have to say, I'm still a fan.

Yes, it's true; I at one time was
a merchandiser for Forever 21. And people are always surprised that I
loved that job.
Are you kidding me?
I got to merchandise and style
crazy different looks and genres of clothing. I was stretched in my
capabilities as a stylist, merchandiser, and display artist. I had guidelines
that were open to interpretation and a lot of freedom to do what I wanted and
dreamed up.
So, yes, I still like to shop at Forever 21. Why wouldn't I? The
prices are unbeatable and you can try out new trends without wasting your
money. When you spill something on your clothes, it's okay! This
season I've really wanted to try a faux leather jacket, a blouse with studs,
faux-reading glasses, and some rockin’ suede driving loafers.

We are getting a tiny taste of fall in JULY! I know that's crazy for St. Louis. Pre-Fall items are filling the local stores and I can't help but want to incorporate some of my fall items into my wardrobe already. Cheap Finds
Apparently I've been on a shoe kick lately. (Pun completely intended) As you can see you from my last posts I've been buying a lot of shoes lately. I just got these from target a few weeks ago, on sale of course! I really like these because the elastic straps fit snugly over my thin feet. They do pinch a little at the toes but over all these are fairly comfortable and great for work.

Wedding Attire for the Guests Part 2
If you are anything like me, you probably have more than one wedding to go to this summer. There are bound to be some crossover on the guest lists. That means I get to buy 2 new dresses!
Again I already have the shoes and this dress! I bought this dress at a sale this winter that I just couldn't pass up and have been saving it for a wedding this summer! I can't wait to dance the night away in this twirly Yumi Kim beauty.

I found this really fun shopping app a few weeks ago. It's set up so well! All you need to do is list the item you want to sell at a price you'd be willing to give 20% off the top away. When someone buys it, you get emailed a free shipping label. (You can get free shipping packaging from usps.com.) There are no returns. It's the most hassle free shopping app I've ever seen. I'm loving it!

Chiffon Blouses
Chiffon blouses are everywhere. This elegant trend dresses up every occasion. Blouses and shorts are even huge. I'm particularly loving the tulip back cut like this yellow blouse. I'm not prepared to go bare back quite yet. I am a midwestern baptist girl at heart, that would be too scandalous. We can all still get the effect even if I'm wearing a cami.
How adorable is this peterpan collar pleated top? It's so sweet, and so me. I could wear it with skinny jeans, or tucked in to a little skirt. Either way I love it. The mint green is perfectly on trend as well!
