I pinned it, I did it 3

After seeing this I googled how to do sock bun curls exactly.  I watched this youtube video to find out more.  Then I was ready to try it myself.  I took a shower at night and blow dried most of it.  The inside of my hair was still damp.

So I rolled it up at night and it looke like that!

This is what it looked like when I woke up...not too bad.

The Curl!  The curls absolutly dropped by the time I got to work.  I had put mousse in it the night before and hairsprayed it that morning when I took the bun out.  I think it was just too wet at night.  It still felt damp in the morning and my hair is so stinken straight that it dried straight.  

I think it is worth another try.  Next time I'll make sure my hair is completely dry and then mist the outside layers of my hair and wrap it in the bun.  This definitely has potential.

Hello Keiko Lynn!  So I've wanted to change my hairstyle for a while.  I only get my hair cut two times a year...so make it worth it right?  Right now I have the same hair style that I had when I was in 8th grade; that's 10 years.  Grant it, I did have that one time when my hair got cut really short on accident in college...

It wasn't that bad, but it really surprised me because it was about 4" shorter than I expected.  So I cried for a few months.  But now that I can't get my haircut because I want it to be long and luscious for the wedding.  But after the wedding I want to get my hair cut like Keiko!  I can't wait.  (PS. Isn't Brian cute?)

BLUE PEOPLE!

While I was growing up my dad loved to watch twilight zone, Hitchcock, and other sci-fi/mystery programs. One day my dad and my sister watched the Twilight Zone about the blue people. The premise of this episode is that "blue people" have to set up every minute in time. They have to create it. So the "blue people" know that at 9:03am I will be walking into my bedroom after breakfast, so they only set up my bedroom, putting everything into place. Sometimes the blue people run out of time and not everything that was supposed to be put in the room gets there.

So this would explain why sometimes you look EVERYWHERE for something (say your keys) you walk out of the room and come back and they are lying on the table. That's when you blame the blue people.

Even though I have never seen this particular twilight zone blaming lost things on the blue people is a common occurrence in my family. I think Emily has even blogged about this too.

So I lost my favorite headband months ago. I knew I had left it in my car and then never saw it again. So then today I found it right next to the seat belt! Stupid blue people!

I have also been missing my favorite hair clip with feathers ever since Thanksgiving!! I'm waiting for the blue people to catch up with me.
I'm just hoping today is the day they put it where I last saw it, in my closet. I would then have no more beefs with the blue people.
