Consignment

I had a lot of my goods in a consignment / bead shop since this past winter; Bizzy Beads.
Sadly the owner has decided to stop selling the consignment goods and focus on the beads to better her business.  This is kind of exciting news for me.  Now I have all of my product back.  I can beef up my etsy shop.  I'm really excited to get started.
Today I decided to have a photo shoot.
It was semi successful.  It was so bright out I couldn't tell if I was getting any good shots.  Some were great!  Some were ok.  Here is a shot of some of my kids headbands!
Check back at my etsy shop often to see what I'm up to!
There is a lot more coming....

vintage vs. new

After looking up so much vintage school supplies I decided to see what people were making as far as school supplies go.  I went back to my bff etsy and found SO much cute stuff.  Check it out.

I really like this bag.  It'r really cute and has a clean look.  I could see this being at Gap.  It's from ikabags.  Where's my tandem bicycle I need to go to art school.
Yep, I'll take that pencil case.  This beauty is from aylla.  It's even on sale! WooHoo.

Look at this cute fabric covered journal.  It's made by ME!  Look at my etsy shop here.  You can reuse the covers on any composition book!
I'm in love with this lunch bag.  I might really buy this for work.  It's insulated it has a great strap.  It's cute.  It's perfect.  It's carriedawaybags.

These are little snack bags from sacsavers.  They are cotton with spill proof, stain proof liners.  I need to make some of these...or buy them.  I'm sick of throwing away tons of plastic bags!

um, yeah.  You need cute new glasses for school right?  We need to trick the teacher into thinking you're smart from day one.  (They'll grade you better if they think you're smart.)  This cute heart glasses are from steppie.

Craft Show

Okay so I know that this was 3 weeks ago, but I got the pictures yesterday.  My beautiful adoring fiance brought his fancy camera from work to take pictures.  Of course that means the pictures were on his work computer for weeks and today they are here.  So here you go!

This was our booth mascot for the day, chico.  Chico is Cara and Archie's doggy.

It was a hot, but really fun day.  I'm glad I have one fair under my belt.  I've learned a lot from it and I think the next one will be even better!

Irene's Button Journal!

I just posted this little fabric covered journal on my etsy shop here!  I screen printed this little bow on the cover and sewed on a button.  The vintage fabric is my favorite part though.

New Items UP!!

I just uploaded this great apron.  I'm calling it "Stacy's 4th of July Apron."  You can find it here.

I made this fabric covered composition book too.  I love the trim on the front that doubles as a place to clip your pen.  You can find "Anna's Picnic Journal" here.

I am so in love with this vintage fabric!  I called this one, "Hunting is the Game"  You can find this journal here.

All of the items that I listed in my etsy shop today were made 100% out of recycled vintage fabrics.
