A few lovely years ago I woke up around 6 am with my sister and went to some grocery store I've never heard of and bought their first Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Books in Estes Park, CO. And now Part 1 is in theaters in an hour. I can't wait until I get to see it after work tomorrow. So...Excited...

Sad Love
I'm not sad...
Brian has been out of town for the past few days on vacation. I had to stay home and work. That's enough to make anyone crabby. To say the least I've found myself highly irritable. I don't think it's because I'm jealous I think it's just because I don't get to see him as much as I like! Well here are the things that make me feel better...
There is something about Jif Creamy Peanut butter that just soothes the soul. It has been my go to food for when I'm feeling homesick, lonely, or disappointed.
Not only is this movie the ultimate chick flick with strong leading female roles, Christian Bale, and an amazingly emotional score but it gives you a reason to cry, if you needed to get that out. It's also an excuse to get a little Christmas into your life when it's out of season. Even though this isn't a Christmas movie at all it still has adorable Christmas scenes.
These three actors also give a great distraction to my lonely days. I may have watched three of the Harry Potter movies in the last three days. It's not my fault that ABCfamily was having a Harry Potter weekend right when I needed it.
Doing a craft project is the perfect distraction when you need one. If it's big enough, time will move by faster than you want it too! Too bad I already sewed all the wedding bunting that I had. What should I do for the next few days?
This picture came from the most adorable crochet blogger on the north side of the hemisphere; Attic 24.

1960s
I've been really inspired by the 1960s lately. The women's fashion is really empowering for the first time in the '60s. I just want to wear high waisted wool pants with a turtle neck. Gosh I can't wait until fall! I'm in the process of buying something very awesomely 1960s but I'll post pictures once I get it in the mail! Man, I love vintage etsy.
Here is the beginning of Wait Until Dark. The classic Audrey Hepburn movie, where she plays a terrorized blind woman. It was made in 1967. Be inspired by the fashion in the first few scenes.
