Cake Toppers

I've always wanted the true bride and groom for the top of the wedding cake.  After seeing Julie Roberts pick out the little groom and bride that look like her and her fiance in Runaway Bride I wanted to do it too.  I also love the scene in Gilmore Girls when Sookie picks out a groom that has Luke's butt!

So I've been shopping on ebay looking for a vintage cake topper.

Here is what I like....

 

I like the 1960s aspect.  You'd think that the 1940s would be the coolest.  At least that's what I thought  until I saw them and they looked like this...

 

Aren't they creepy?!
